It was wonderful to learn so much about past generations. My Dad used to tell me when I was a kid I was Irish. My Grandmother died before I was born.

Enjoyed reading your website. I believe I can add some information about Hanna Truedsdotter (Jeppsson). She was married to Nils Person on September 8, 1854. They lived in Hjarsas and had a daughter and 4 sons, one of whom was my grandfather, Anders Nilsson (anglicized to Andrew Nelson when he immigrated to Gaylord, MN). I was in Hjarsas last May and found the graves of his brother and two nephews, but none from earlier generations so was glad to learn more about my great-grandmother and her family. you really did a great job regarding the family tree. It is so interesting! I enclose a photo of the 4 great grandchildren of Johann Friedrich Clasen, born in Rothenhausen in 1815, and I hope you will be able to open it. The persons are from to left to right as follows: Johannes Clasen (whom you found upon the ancestry family tree) and his sister Else Clasen. They both are no longer alive. Next to them are their two half brothers (their father married for a second time, as his first wife died) Helmut Clasen (my husband) and Ernst-August Clasen, his almost 14 years older brother.
