POPULAR YOUNG FOLKS ARE WED

Miss Victoria Wieshalla and Mr. John Dreher are Married Tuesday Morning.

Prominent Social Event in Hartford. Reception is Held at the Home of the Groom.

The wedding of Miss Victoria Wieshalla and Mr. John Dreher occurred at Browerville Tuesday morning, Rev. Guzdek officiating. The event was one of the important social affairs of the year in Hartford where the young people reside.

Following the wedding there was a reception at the home of the groom's parents to which all the friends and neighbors had been invited. The festivities and merry making lasted until a late hour, not the least of the enjoyable events of the afternoon and evening being the sumptuous dinners served and the dance arranged for the young folks.

The many and handsome wedding gifts were a noticeable incident and attested the popularity of the bridal couple.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wieshalla, old residents of Hartford. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dreher, who have also resided in the town for many years. The bridal couple are unusually well popularly known, having always taken a leading part in the social affairs of their community. The Leader joins their many friends in best wishes and congratulations. The reception was attended by a number of guests from this village and they all report a very pleasant time.

SOUTH HARTFORD.

Yesterday occurred the wedding of two prominent young people of the township. The contracting parties were Miss Victoria Wieshalla and Mr. John Dreher. They were married at Browerville by Fr. Dudek, of the Polish church. After the ceremony, the happy couple with their many invited friends repaired to the home of the groom's father, Mr. Wm. Dreher, where a bounteous wedding dinner was awaiting them. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Frances, as maid of honor and Miss Anna Closson, a cousin of the groom, as bridesmaid. Henry Dreher and John Weishalla acted as best man. The bride was handsomely dressed in a cream voile. She wore a wreath and veil and carried bride's roses. The maid of honor wore a white Jap silk dress and the bridesmaid was dressed in white. The groom wore the conventional black. Miss Weishalla is the second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Weishalla. She was born and reared in this locality and needs no introduction. The groom was also reared to manhood in this township. The corps of waiters were kept busy throughout the afternoon and evening feeding the hungry multitude which had gathered to help make the day a happy one, which will not be forgotten so soon. They will go to housekeeping in the groom's farm in Eastern Hartford. May never a cloud pass between them and may they live happy together until death parts them.
